How do you make DVD copies? You load a source DVD in the DVD-ROM reader. The duplicator will copy to the blank discs it sees and ignores the recorders that do not contain blank discs. What blank media can be used in the DVD/CD Copy Tower Pro HS? Most available media of the desired format can be used. It is recommended to use recognized brand name media for best results in a duplicator. How fast will the DVD/CD Copy Tower Pro HS copy DVDs? A DVD/CD Copy Tower Pro HS can make copies of a typical 4.7GB DVD in less than 5 minutes while actual recording time is less. The actual time to copy the information from a source DVD to up to 7 DVD-R blank discs, start to finish, will vary due to the quality of the discs being used, write Process initialization tests by the duplicator controller, writing lead in/lead out information, etc. If the duplicator is having trouble reading a DVD, what can be done?
The first step to take is to go to “Prescan” and test the disc and the reading speed and making speed adjustments. If you are still having trouble, you can place the source disc in any of the DVD Recorders and try to read it. Any drive can be selected as the source drive using the “Select Src.” Function.
