The 1:3 DVD/CD Auto Publisher LS is the first ever robotic autoloading LightScribe disc publisher. It is capable of multiple unattended direct to disc LightScribe labeling or unattended disc duplication. This DVD/CD publisher can copy as many DVDs and CDs as you need and with the LightScribe Disc Labeling technology built in, the DVD recorder lasers can burn custom labels on each disc in the same machine. Simply flip the stacks of recorded discs over to laser burn silkscreen quality labels on the label side of the LightScribe discs. The robot will again load the discs in the recorders and burn LightScribe labels on each disc. You can also use conventional blank media to make copies only.
The built in LightScribe-enabled DVD/CD recorders have a special lasers that pump light energy into a thin dye coating on the label side of a LightScribe disc. The light from the laser causes a chemical change in the dye coating that shows up as a visible point on the disc. With laser precision, LightScribe delivers closely controlled light energy to multiple points on the disc as it spins in the drive. The result is a high-resolution reproduction of the artwork, text, or photos you composed in the software application.

It should be no surprise that the majority of users are in an office environment and have little experience with automated equipment other than possibly a copier. In this environment, equipment must be easy to understand and operate. Most automated disc duplication products available today are either very limited in capacity or are fairly complex and cumbersome and not really suited to the office environment. Aleratec has carefully considered these factors in the development of the Aleratec 1:3 DVD/CD Auto Publisher LS. The system has a 200 disc automatic loading capacity that can truly support unattended operation and operating controls that are very straight forward and intuitive to even the novice user.
